This car has been in my family since 1974 and is more like a family heirloom than our antique car. My father purchased it when I was born to replace his two door sedan (growing family needs a four door!). The car was painted black with a roller, but it was soon apparent that the backyard paint job actually preserved the original colors. My father restored the car back to its original glory and it saw service as our family driver for almost a decade! I have many fond childhood memories and this car was a part of more than a few. We restored it again for my wedding in 2000 and we drive it every chance we get. I look forward to handing it down to my sons one day so they can keep our family tradition going.
