This car has been in my family since 1974 and is more like a family heirloom than our antique car. My father purchased it when I was born to replace his two door sedan (growing family needs a four door!). The car was painted black with a roller, but it was soon apparent that the backyard paint job actually preserved the original colors. My father restored the car back to its original glory and it saw service as our family driver for almost a decade! I have many fond childhood memories and this car was a part of more than a few. We restored it again for my wedding in 2000 and we drive it every chance we get. I look forward to handing it down to my sons one day so they can keep our family tradition going.

My latest project. Looking forward to putting a real lift and some decent sized tires on it. This truck will be put together to become an overlander taking the wife and I adventure camping. Future mods include (but not limited to, haha) 6.5" long arm kit, 35" mud terrains, Dana 44 rear axle, OX Lockers front and back, re-gearing of the axles, front and rear bumpers, winch, rock rails, frame stiffeners, ARB roof rack and lots of other stuff I cannot afford at the moment. Calling this the Whiskey Tango X-Jay because it's going to be built on a shoestring budget with lots of hand built upgrades and pirated parts. Stay tuned....

I bought this Jeep while doing a job in Trenton NJ; it was sitting in the back of what appeared to be an abandoned lot covered with years of dirt and grime. I spoke with the owner (who emerged from what appeared to be an equally abandoned looking garage/shack) and bought the truck for $250. It took me about a year worth of hard work and 4 donor vehicles to get it completed. I grabbed the 360 V8 out of a '73 J-Truck, the suspension out of a nicely lifted rusted-to- death '78 CJ5, the T-18 4 speed, transfer case and Dana 44 out of an '86 CJ7, and various other parts from yet another junk CJ7. I handled all the paint and bodywork, which ended up being more than I bargained for...it apparently was rolled at some point in its life. I picked up a Holley Pro-Jection fuel injection kit for it at a local car show, added dual exhaust, a winch, and 33' TRXUS Mud Terrains. This truck was a monster off-road and a handful on the highway. Definitely one of my favorite projects to build and then whoop on.

My GT. I bought this car at my favorite local swap meet back in 1995. I did the paint and bodywork and used it as my everyday driver for many years. Recently I rebuilt the engine with a Trick Flow Stage 1 top end kit, BBk shorty headers, Holley 4150 650cfm carb, Edelbrock RPM Air Gap manifold, and a set of underdrive pulleys. I instantly exploded my factory T-5 transmission and had to replace it with a Tremec TKO 600. I replaced the anemic rear end with an 8.8 with 3.73 gears. I have many plans for this car, including a Paxton supercharger, complete suspension and brake upgrades and probably yet another paint job. The car still takes me back and forth to work and around town; I really enjoy driving an old Foxbody Mustang!
